Ziya Gasimov serves as a Chief Project Engineer and Highway Engineering Lead at Miras.

He graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction with a degree in Transport Route Engineering (Highways, Bridges, and Tunnels). A credentialed leader in infrastructure governance, he holds globally recognized certifications including PMP® (Project Management Professional from PMI) and IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager).

In recognition of his exceptional contribution to national transit infrastructure development, he was awarded an official Certificate of Honor by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA).

Having progressed from Lead Highway Engineer to Senior Project Manager and Chief Project Engineer, Ziya directs full-cycle engineering surveys and multi-disciplinary teams (structural, hydraulic, and geotechnical). He ensures all highway alignments, grade separations, and transport corridors strictly comply with high-level national and international safety regulations.
