Design of a bridge over the Aghsu River gorge on the Mughanli - Ismayilli - Gabala Highway
Overview
Detailed engineering of a landmark 1,195 m long and up to 77 m high bridge crossing over the Aghsu River gorge
Comprehensive structural engineering of a landmark bridge over the deep Aghsu River gorge on the Mughanli – Ismayilli – Gabala highland highway. With a total length of 1,195 m and a deck width of 22.60 m, the structure is designed to withstand severe seismicity and complex alpine geomorphology. The structural system relies on 13 substantial piers founded on 397 deep bored cast-in-place piles. Featuring 60 m pylons and a maximum clearance of 77 m above the riverbed, the bridge safely bypasses major landslide zones along the corridor
