Design of the Boyukshor – Pirshagi Expressway

Engineering design project for the Boyukshor – Pirshagi continuous-flow urban arterial highway with a total length of 12.7 km. The design features a subgrade width of 27.60–34.60 m and carriageway widths ranging from 10.50 to 14.00 m, accommodating 6–8 traffic lanes. The heavy-duty asphalt concrete pavement is designed for an axle load of 115 kN (11.5 t) and a tire pressure of 0.80 MPa. The engineering scope includes 2x0.50/1.00 m safety strips, 2x1.50 m sidewalks, and a cross slope of 2.50%.
