Design of a multi-level interchange connecting the Boyukshor - Pirshagi Highway with M. Narimanov Street

Engineering design of a modern multi-level traffic interchange and flyover complex connecting the Boyukshor – Pirshagi highway with Muzaffar Narimanov Street in Baku. Classified as a continuous-flow urban arterial highway, the design features a subgrade width of 27.60–34.60 m and carriageway widths ranging from 10.50 to 14.00 m accommodating 6–8 traffic lanes. The heavy-duty asphalt concrete pavement structure is engineered for an axle load of 115 kN (11.5 t) and tire contact pressure of 0.80 MPa. The scheme integrates 2x0.50/1.00 m safety shoulder strips, 2x1.50 m pedestrian sidewalks, and a cross-slope drainage profile of 2.50%.
