Design of a cable-stayed bridge over the Kura River

A large-scale cable-stayed bridge project across the Kura River, combining advanced engineering calculation technologies and reliable structural solutions to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow on the strategic Alat-Astara highway. A multi-span cable-stayed structure has been implemented according to the layout: 50.0 + 50.0 + 151.0 + 50.0 + 50.0 m. The total design length of the bridge crossing is 362.92 m. The carriageway features a complex architectural and engineering configuration: (G-2x11.0 m) + 2x0.75 + 4.14 + 2x1.0 m. The central 151-meter span of the bridge is suspended by cables from a metal arch of original design.
