Design of the Absheron Connecting Canal
Overview
Engineering design of the connecting canal: 2,636.45 m pipeline (Ø1,800 mm) and concrete hydraulic structures
An engineering project for water management infrastructure development and network interconnectivity, encompassing the construction and modernization of the Absheron Connecting Canal. The scope of work features the installation of an engineered connecting pipeline with a diameter of 1,800 mm and an overall length of 2,636.45 m, the routing of associated high-capacity trunk conduits, and the construction of open reinforced concrete hydraulic regulating facilities. This infrastructure ensures the dynamic reallocation of water resources across the Absheron Peninsula while maintaining high hydraulic efficiency and preventing distribution losses.
