A strategic hydraulic engineering project for the post-conflict rehabilitation and modernization of water resources infrastructure across the Karabakh economic region. The project entails the preparation of comprehensive design and estimate documentation for the structural repair, overhaul, and commissioning of the hydraulic facilities forming the Kondalan cascade on the Kondalanchay River in the Fuzuli district: Kondalan-1, Kondalan-2, and Ashagy-Kondalan reservoirs.
The engineered scope encompasses:
• Structural inspection and remediation of embankment dam bodies, crest alignments, and riprap slope protection;
• Rehabilitation of spillway chutes, discharge channels, stilling basins, and energy dissipators;
• Refurbishment of bottom outlets, complete with the replacement of mechanical gates, valves, and hoisting gears;
• Deployment of modern geotechnical instrumentation, structural health monitoring, and automated safety control systems.
The completion of these engineering interventions safeguards downstream settlements from flash floods while securing dependable irrigation for thousands of hectares of fertile farmland in the Fuzuli district.
