Design of railway infrastructure and a container terminal at Baku Port

The infrastructure project features a 344.26 m access road with a 12.00 m carriageway, 15.60 m subgrade width, and 1.30 m sidewalks. The heavy-duty asphalt concrete pavement (2.0% cross slope) is engineered for an axle load of 115 kN (11.5 t) and 0.6-0.7 MPa tire pressure. The railway section features a 1520 mm gauge with a 5.30 m track spacing, comprising 5 loading/unloading and 3 shunting tracks (minimum radius 180 m, clearance standards "C" and "T"). The container yard platform is designed according to GOST 9238-2013, 200 mm above the rail and 1745 mm from the track centerline. Five at-grade unprotected crossings are provided for vehicular traffic.
