Design of the Absheron Main Canal channel reconstruction

An engineering project for the comprehensive reconstruction, modernization, and capacity expansion of the Absheron Peninsula's primary water conveyance lifeline — the Absheron Main Canal. The design encompasses extensive earthworks to reshape the canal prism, robust cast-in-place and precast reinforced concrete anti-seepage channel linings, and the rehabilitation of operational hydraulic flow-control structures (aqueducts, regulators, and outlet gates). These engineering measures substantially reduce filtration losses, mitigate waterlogging across adjacent developing urbanized areas, and secure a resilient supply of irrigation and technical water for agricultural plots and industrial facilities throughout the Absheron Peninsula.
