Design of the Takhtakorpu Connecting Canal
A hydraulic infrastructure engineering project focused on the optimization, modernization, and operational flexibility of the regional water diversion network, encompassing the engineering design for the construction of the Takhtakorpu Connecting Canal. The technical scope comprises an engineered pressure connecting pipeline with a diameter of 1,400 mm spanning a total length of 1,236.9 m, cast-in-place reinforced concrete canal bed linings, automated flow-distribution headworks, and adjacent inverted siphons with pressurized steel conduit crossings. The infrastructure facilitates the dynamic routing of discharge from the Takhtakorpu Reservoir into downstream irrigation channels while preventing seepage losses and maximizing hydraulic efficiency.
